Call for papers – second edition

One, two, three, now speak… Me!
Do you know what it feels like to stand in front of an audience of several hundred people? Did you ever think about a lecture given before the eyes of a room filled with people who are hanging on your every word?
Imagine that! You are standing in the hall of Auditorium Maximum. You are entering conference room. You are approaching the podium. And now your moment has come! There are crowds in the hall. Nothing strange - after all you have something important to say. Something that could change the approach to IT subject, to its future.
A year ago from many submitted applications we chose two people who proposed the most interesting lectures.
Andrzej Błaszczyk told us how to use Facebook profiles to analyze individuals and successfully encouraged them to take specific actions and how to do well when Facebook robots visit our page and how to improve its position in the search.
Konrad Malawski showed us the advantages of distributed version control system - git and how to use it effectively. Beside the lecture, participants had an opportunity to see how to use the system despite the fact that the repository is currently being used under control of SVN.
You are doing something original, extraordinary and would like to share this with the entire world? Do not hesitate! Contact us now!
We are waiting for your applications until 30 January 2012

The time for sending your applications to our Call for Papers passed few days ago. You have sent a lot of them and we are very gratefull!
Our speakers team is already wondering who of you will be this year’s speaker during AITF. They already know the decision won’t be easy to make!
By the way I will mention to you that we have created a whole new way of presentation of Academic IT Festival's speakers.

We have version for lazy ones: just name and lastname in a cloud under the photo and we also have something for more inquisitive people: long description of the speaker appearing after his/her photo or name is clicked.
Have a nice time while reading about these interesting speakers!
